Parivartan Foundation Based in Mumbai is a decade strong initiative led by doctors, social workers, and professionals working to uplift communities through education, healthcare, women's empowerment, disability inclusion and environmental sustainability.
We are dedicated to empowering communities for sustainable change. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: that every individual deserves access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between the haves and have-nots by providing innovative solutions that address the pressing issues of poverty, inequality, and social injustice. We believe that by working together, we can create a more just and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Parivartan Foundation organised the landmark Metta International Theatre Festival, celebrating the essence of Buddhism and global cultural unity through performing arts. Metta, a Pali word meaning unconditional loving-kindness and compassion for all beings, guided the festival’s spirit. International artists and cultural ambassadors from Sri Lanka, Rwanda, Mozambique, Armenia, Zimbabwe, the United Kingdom, and Nepal participated and performed on the universal values of equality, liberty, fraternity, and justice, spreading the message of peace and harmonious coexistence from the sacred land of Buddha to the world.

Parivartan Foundation led a powerful Save the Girl Child campaign to raise awareness against female foeticide and promote gender equality. Beginning in Mumbai and culminating in Nagpur, the campaign mobilised citizens, social leaders, students, and institutions to take a stand for the rights and dignity of girl children. Through sustained outreach and public engagement, we successfully collected 11 lakh signatures supporting the mission to stop female foeticide and ensure every girl is welcomed, protected, and empowered. This movement reflects our firm commitment to building a compassionate and equitable society where every girl has the right to life, education, and opportunity.

Parivartan Foundation proudly organised the Sanvidhan Daud – Run for the Constitution, a historic public movement celebrating the values of Equality, Liberty, Fraternity, and Justice. Flagged off from Worli to Dadar, the run was inaugurated by Hon. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Hon. Minister for Social Justice Rajkumar Badole, Hon. Union Minister for Social Justice Shri Ramdas Athawale, and Consul General of Sri Lanka Smt. Saroja Sirisena, along with legendary hockey icon Shri Dhanraj Pillay and senior bureaucrats of Maharashtra.
With the enthusiastic participation of over 25,000 citizens, the event became one of the largest constitutional awareness runs in Maharashtra. As a symbol of civic pride and commitment to democratic values, 25,000+ copies of the Indian Constitution were distributed to all runners, reinforcing our collective responsibility to uphold the ideals enshrined by the founding fathers of our nation.

Parivartan Foundation successfully led the Mumbai to Kolhapur – Save the Girl Child Campaign, a powerful social movement dedicated to promoting girl child protection, dignity, and empowerment. The initiative was launched on International Women’s Day with an inspiring all-women band performance, symbolizing strength, unity, and the voice of women rising together. The inauguration also featured a live painting session by a renowned artist, capturing the essence of women’s empowerment through art and expression.
The campaign received overwhelming public support and saw active participation from changemakers and influencers, including celebrated entrepreneur and philanthropist Ms. Zeba Kohli. This journey served as a call to society to nurture, support, and celebrate every girl child, reinforcing our mission to build an equitable and compassionate world for all daughters of India.

Parivartan Foundation runs TrainHer Ascent, a dedicated skills and livelihood development program empowering young girls from the slum communities of Mumbai. Through this initiative, we provide high-quality, industry-relevant training completely free of cost, equipping girls with technical, professional, and life skills essential for success in today’s workforce.
The program focuses on building confidence, employability, and economic independence. We are proud that many of our trained beneficiaries have secured dignified employment in leading multinational companies (MNCs), opening new pathways for themselves and inspiring their communities. TrainHer Ascent stands as a testament to our commitment to fostering equal opportunity, dignity, and financial empowerment for every girl, enabling them not just to dream—but to rise.

Parivartan Foundation, in partnership with NACDOR and GAIN, organised a State-Level Consultation on Malnutrition at Mumbai University, bringing together representatives from 57+ organisations, grassroots leaders, and nutrition experts. The consultation focused on addressing malnutrition among Dalit and Adivasi communities and strengthening accountability in key schemes such as ICDS, Mid-Day Meal, and PDS.
During the event, the Maharashtra Nutrition Report Card and State Nutrition Report were released, highlighting serious nutrition gaps in vulnerable communities. The programme concluded with the launch of the Maharashtra Poshan Adhikar Abhiyan, a collaborative action platform committed to awareness campaigns, social audits, and community-led advocacy to achieve a malnutrition-free Maharashtra.

Empowering People with Disabilities Through Skills & Dignified Employment
Parivartan Foundation is committed to building an inclusive society by empowering People with Disabilities (PwDs/Divyangjan) through skill development and meaningful employment. Our flagship initiative, PANKH – Wings of Destiny, provides completely free, residential training to PwDs and supports them in securing dignified jobs, enabling them to live with self-respect, independence, and confidence.

Project Samarth is Parivartan Foundation’s flagship initiative aimed at combating malnutrition and anemia among women, adolescent girls, and children in rural and aspirational districts of Maharashtra. Through a holistic, community-based approach, the program integrates nutrition awareness, health screenings, behavior change education, supplementation support, kitchen-garden promotion, and community mobilization.
The project works closely with Anganwadis, schools, community leaders, and government departments to strengthen existing public health efforts while empowering mothers and caregivers with practical nutritional knowledge.
By fostering nutrition literacy, early identification of high-risk cases, and sustainable food security practices, Project Samarth is helping build a healthier and more resilient generation. Our mission is simple yet transformative — ensure every child and woman receives the nutrition they deserve to thrive.
